How NOT to be a Bad Company 2 NOOB !

Just found this video on You Tube and I think it relates to me.

Last week, me and Donncha were playing Afrca Harbour on Defence and on the second base we went to the far construction site and he manned the Stationary AT and me on the Heavy MG. He spotted them and I mowed them down and then a message came saying NOOB ! I continued to ripe that team apart and finished the game with a score 6500+ and with the Ace Pin and more. But all the details are on Donncha and David blogs. So if you use the Heavy MG or probably a tank the MW2 cross over players think your a noob. I have used the M60 and had a lot of fun with it but the under powered pre patched Heavy MG a noob gun I don’t think so.

In battlefield you have to use all the equipment available and all the equipment has it’s counters. If you flick to about 5 minutes in the video there is a chapter on “Use everything to you Disposal”  and that’s what I do and all the other peoples do. So for all the people sending message to the people who use the heavy MG, Tanks, Helicopters and anything else just watch this video and I think you are the NOOB !

Last Night Games

The girlfriend was studying the kid in bed so that is a great opportunity for some Bad Company  2.  Jumped on-line to see if anyone was on but unsuccessful. Played a couple of games and was playing well again (Last week I couldn’t pull a positive K\D or good score). While playing checked again to see if anyone was on-line and there was Donnchac so tried to join but server was full. We created a squad and the fun began.

We started in Valapariso and jumped in to a tank and ripped the team apart. Donncha was driving and me on the gun (great combo). We took the first base and still had the tank so moved up to 2nd base and the killing continued. The rockets were flying but Donncha was dodging them and me mowing them down. The only problems was the rest of the team wasn’t taking the initiative to go arm the M-COM Station and then the party end the tank went down. We went forward again with no tank and they were too stuck in and a tank returned and so the tank and I were one again but with a different tactic, we tried the “Decoy” .  Donncha was driving and me on the gun and full throttle towards the base. He put the tank between me and the enemy and draw the attention from me is I jumped out and armed the base, jumped back in 20 seconds later and base 2  was gone.

The 3rd base was and easily taken and moved on 4th were the problems began. The tank again but this time they were wise and the rockets came down from the heavens and we went to hell. The rest of the team was sitting back to much and it was only really me and Donncha trying for a plant and that wont work on that part of the map. But in the end we lost but got a great score

Next map was Arica Harbour which was another great game were we planted most bombs and the server CRASH. Had a great night

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Patch 1.02 Update Changes

I have listed all the changes in the new 1.02 patch on the PS3 and Xbox in each different kit for easy reference. All the details below include the new changes added for the consoles.

General Change’s

  • Increased the base range of all Automatic and Semiautomatic weapons for more consistent close range combat,
  • Slightly increased the damage of Semiautomatic rifles over long range for more consistent damage output,
  • Slightly increased the Health of soldiers in Hardcore for better Kit Balance,
  • Increased the damage of AA guns against all targets. The AA gun should be much more effective against infantry on Port Valdez.

All Kit Weapons Change’s

  • Significantly increased the speed of the Tracer Dart projectile to make it more effective against airborne targets,
  • Slightly increased the base damage of shotgun rounds and reduced their range to clarify ideal shotgun combat distance,
  • Decreased the range of Pump Shotgun Slug rounds when using Magnum Ammo for better Kit Balance, especially in Hardcore,
  • Fixed a bug where the Saiga12 with slugs would do too much damage at long range,
  • The G3 and all SemiAutomatic rifles now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming.

Assault Change’s

  • Slightly increased the damage of the AEK971, F2000, and AUG over long range to balance them with other Assault Rifles,
  • Slightly reduced the base damage of the M16 to balance the increased range,
  • Reduced the lethal blast range of the 40mm grenade to highlight their role as a secondary weapon against infantry,

Engineers Change’s

  • Increased the repair and overheat speeds of the Power Tool. Now overheats sooner but repairs the same amount before overheating,
  • Reduced the lethal blast range of the M2CG to highlight their role as a secondary weapon against infantry,
  • Slightly increased the damage of the UZI at long range,
  • Reduced the base damage of the PP2000 to balance the increased range,
  • Increased the damage of the 9A91 over long range to balance its lower magazine size,
  • The AKs74u now has more felt recoil when aiming.

Medic Change’s

  • Decreased the base damage of the M60 and XM8 LMGs to bring them in line with the other LMG damage values,
  • Increased the zoomed burst accuracy of LMGs and decreased LMG accuracy when moving to reduce LMG run and gun,
  • Increased the damage of the MG3 to bring it in line with the rest of the LMGs,
  • Increased the benefit from the Medkit Heal+ specialization to make it more desirable as a Specialization.

Recon Change’s

  • Increased the maximum number of Motion Sensors that can be carried from 2 to 3 and increased the speed which new sensors are acquired from ammo boxes,
  • Increased the reload time of the Mortar Strike and reduced the damage it does to heavily armoured vehicles,
  • Decreased the range of Bolt Action Sniper when using Magnum Ammo for better Kit Balance, especially in Hardcore,
  • The VSS now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming,
  • Fixed a bug where the SVU would do too little damage at long range.

Pistols Change’s

  • Slightly reduced the rate of fire of the M1911 pistol to balance it with other pistols,
  • Increased the damage and range of the M9, M93 pistols to make them more desirable as a secondary weapon,
  • Increased the range of the MP443 pistol to make it more desirable as a secondary weapon,
  • Increased the damage of the MP412 over long range to balance its low rate of fire.

Vehicle Change’s

Tank

  • Decreased the benefit from Vehicle Reload Speed to balance it against other Vehicle Specializations,
  • Slightly decreased the benefit from accuracy specializations to balance the changes to range and accuracy tweaks.
  • Fixed a bug where the BMD3 would take extra damage to the front armour,

Helicopter

  • Reduced the explosive damage from Attack Helicopter cannons.
